For Ellis it was just a matter of voicing his concern at the wrong time.As for the season once it gets started there are a few things to look forward too The first is the development of Anthony Randolph. Randolph is extremely athletic and can produce in a variety of ways. Randolph can do it defensively with his length he can block shots and steal the basketball. Offensively he can handle the ball very well, still needs to work on his mid range jumper, he can finish at the rim, and he swallows both offensive and defensive rebounds. The second is rookie point guard Stephen Curry.
He's better than I thought he was."Third thing to watch is for Ellis and how he will do after coming back from an injury plagued season last year. Will he become the Ellis of old I think that was answered in the preseason as well and it looks like Ellis back to the player he was when he averaged over 20 points per game and shot 53 percent from the floor, the only thing I can see Ellis working on though is his free throw shooting.Corey Maggette comes in as number four and that is can he stay healthy for a full season I recently read a column in regards to Maggette as being in the best shape of his life and how he'shoping to have an injury free season.Maggette is only 29 years old and is in the second year of his big contract he signed with the Warriors. If he can stay healthy the Warriors should have a solid scoring threat because he likes attacking the basket. Watson can provide valuable minutes off the bench at the point guard position.Lastly, though is what is going to happen with Stephen Jackson I believe he will be on the Warriors for the whole season. I understand his frustrations and that he can get emotional when things aren't going his way in his eyes and that's what happened when he requested a trade.Right now he understands and the Warriors organization after the public spat with Nelson after five quick fouls in a preseason game didn't look very good and teams aren't willing to take on his big salary.Jackson was also suspended for two games because of his actions, but came back with a very nice game when he did come back from the suspension. Jackson had 15 points and 10 assists in 32 minutes. As for the team itself the Warriors are very young, talented, and capable scorers.

The issue thatplagued them last year was defense and there will be times when the Warriors struggle defensively and on other nights the team will look very good.I also wrote an article recently on a prediction for the Warriors season which is right here in it I predicted the Warriors to win anywhere from 35-38 games. Which, at the very least is 10 more wins then Kelly Dwyer predicted. Here's the truth when reading Dwyer just expect it to behumorous and don't take it too seriously!.
