This is why Bristol is the 1 racetrack on the NASCAR schedule. While most people cant understand why NASCAR races at the dreaded road courses this may be on of the best tracks out there. With its right and left turns plus the elevation changes this makes Infinieon a challenge at every level. If you lose time here you lose lots of time and if you get off track you can pretty much call it a day and head to the garage. Only the best of the best drivers will consistantly drive good here. Heavy brakeing into the corner and the ability to get to top speed as quickly as possible.

If a driver cant be fast both through the middle of the corner and comeing down the straights they can pretty much call it a day. All this plus the fact that you basically run side by side with someone the whole race makes this a difficult track to tame much less win at.. Besides the road courses this is one of the strangest tracks on the schedule. With its tri-point shape and notorious tunnel turn this track can mean hardship for a many of driver. While you reach top speed by the end of the three straights the corners are what give you the most trouble. These sweeping lefts often befuddle drivers as they try to get the speed and turning radius down to a science.

Many a driver have over shot the corner and ended their day early due to a mental slip at this track.. One of the few super speedways on the schedule this track is a challenge in every since of the word. While many drivers strugle with the adjustments during the race to stay fast, it seems at every turn the "big one" is only a moment away. While most the racing is done in two lines it can get dicey and drivers will go 3, 4, and sometimes 5 wide to make a move. With all the room on the straights and the wide open spaces in the corners this track is one of a kind This may be the most reconized track NASCAR races at. Not only does it kick off the season,Daytona has been an icon since its days of racing on the beach. This track has produced some of the most fantastic finishes of all the tracks on the schedule.

While drivers try to tame this track lap by lap they arent only fighting each other but the elements as well. With the addition of night lights this track has made for many of headaches as the sun goes down and the cars tighten up. If you dont have a handle on your setup, as the sun fades away so can your hopes of winning at this track. This is a very interesting raceway indeed. Without much banking it allows the car to slide out a good bit coming out of the turns and by the end of the race most cars have flattened their right side door panels This is a great race track Its challenge lies in the fact that every turn is different.
