Running Backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart scored more touchdowns and gain more yards than most of their teammates. Williams and Stewart continue to prove their not the problem with the Panther's game. DeAngelo Williams is the Panthers strongest running back, scoring 5 touchdowns this season, more than anyone else on the team. These include the single touchdown made against the Buffalo Bills on October 25 and the winning touchdown, scored with less than a minute left on the clock, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Williams currently leads the Panthers rushing line up with 462 yards, with almost a third of them gained in the win against Tampa Bay.

Since joining the Carolina Panthers in 2006, Williams continues to prove he's a strong player. With no less than 500 yards per season, and over 1500 yards gained during the 2008 season, Williams is running the ball and scoring the points that the Panther's passing game isn't gaining this season.
